Some people are naturally big and strong, while some people will always be small.
Some are short, and some are tall.
But nobody was ‘meant’ to be fat.
You can always improve.
You can work within your strengths, and improve on your weaknesses, but you can’t change you you are.
But your body fat?
That’s not you.
It’s hiding you.
I know this sounds ‘new age’, but it’s true.
You don’t need to be ‘shredded’ to have self-worth.
6 Pack abs wont make you a better person.
But, if you want to change how you look, body fat is the ONE thing you can really change.
One small change to the way you eat, and some dedication to stick with it.
That’s all it really takes.
Some people are big and strong, some people will always be small.
But nobody was meant to be fat.

There’s a good Dr. Seuss book in there, somewhere.
Great call..
That was definitely me channeling my Dr. Zeuss.
I knew there was no way to get “tall” and “small” into a post without someone calling me out on it.

Brad,
What do you suggest for children and teens?
As you know the number of obese, overweight or just shapeless overfat children and teen is huge.
I know you don’t think fasting should be used with children and teens.
I think thought we’re getting too conservative when it comes to kids and diet and I don’t think fasting can be harmful to kid growth and I know many teens fasted and used to fast instinctively and that “therapeutic fasting” has been used with children without negative effects on their growth.
That beind said, since you don’t endorse fasting to help overweight and obese kids.
What do you propose to help them lose fat and be fitter?

Just to give you the heads-up Brad, seems like you’ve been used again for another scam.

I needed this today, thank you! I was seeing a lot of progress using ESE for 7 weeks, I lost almost 5% body fat but then I stopped doing it for 4 weeks because I wanted to eat more, I was depressed because our gym closed down (this economy!) Joined a new Crossfit Gym this week and I’m back in business. Today is my first 24 hour fast, I’m starting over and I’m sure I’ll see results fairly quickly since I’m not too far gone.
So when I got to work today my mind was already telling me I was too hungry to make it 24 hours then I read this post today and I’ve got this down, no problem!
Wow, this is the first time that I have noticed someone stealing a photo like that. Is that common, I remember reading your post that included those photos. My people are amazing. Thanks so much to you four, Brad, Brad, John and Craig. Though Craig doesn’t seem to follow the Adonis stuff much, at least he doesn’t post it often, he and his blog have really helped keep me motivated. Then from Him I learned about Brad and ESE and from there found Adonis and the podcasts you put out. Those podcasts are so motivating. Thank you guys and keep up the good work.
Hi Brad,
Brad i am doing ESE and I had lost 16kgs and i am curently 67kgs and I am 19 yrs male.
Brad I have lost fat from my face and arms but not and very little from stomach area.
So I found these lines on line..can you tell me if they are true or not…
”Losing Fat
Many people compare subcutaneous fat to the layers of an onion. Rather than disappearing from a particular place, it comes off layer by layer from the whole body.
Moreover, the way fat is shed is different from person to person. It tends to go from the most recent place it appeared. If your tummy started gaining first – this will be the very last place for the fat to disappear from.
This is why, for example, a man may complain of getting too thin in the face – and yet still have a small ‘spare tire’ around his waist. Or a woman may complain of a smaller bust, and yet the hips may have barely moved in inch.
This is further compounded by cellulite. With cellulite tissue, fatty acids are contained in a net of fibrous connective tissue. As fat loss occurs the net becomes compressed – making it difficult for the blood supply to readily remove the fat from these stubborn areas.”
And offcourse Rusty Moore
Hi Harry,
Makes sense to me..except for the last paragraph…not that its wrong, i’m just no an expert in cellulite.
