Every wonder why breakfast is good and fasting is bad?
This is an ADVERTISEMENT that was found in “The Milwaukee Journal” back in 1943
I’ve also blown up the text part so you can read it….
And finally, just a reminder of the real reason why “breakfast is the most important meal of the day”
So it looks like back 1943, the practicing of ‘fasting’ was cutting into somebody’s profits.
(I love the “not wise, not wise at all” line)
Thank goodness the right propaganda can fix that nagging problem (sarcasm)
Personally, I think I’ll keep on fasting…I may not be a ‘champion’, but hey, I’m lean
BP
PS- I apologize for the term ‘Hottentot’…I didn’t write it, not do I understand why it’s there in the first place.

term is probably in there for one of two reasons: 1) at the time it was used to describe a person of lower intelligence (not eating breakfast is a dumb move implied) or 2) a thought on size of certain body parts (rear) were thought to use as means of storage of energy and thus could go long time without eating.

Politically incorrect at present.
However, in that time period of Western Civilization,
the term was commonly used to
imply a “savage”, “uncivilized”, and/or “ignorant” person.
LOL! Wow, that ad says it all.
As a side note, I’ve been delaying or skipping breakfast for years, long before I learned about ESE, and I’ve remained slim. I actually don’t feel good if I eat too early in the day, no matter what the breakfast food is.
PROPAGANDA!!!! PROPAGANDA!!!!!
“Not among the Hottentots but right here at home”…lolz
Woo, this is great. I’ve never bought the ‘breakfast is the most important meal of the day’ theory.
Its all about the profits man! These companies will, lie, steal, and cheat in order to promote their products. I use to work in the pharmaceutical industry and I know the “tricks” they use to skew results in their favor. Fasting is good and effective and I am going to keep using it!!!!
I never ate breakfast growing up, and I only do once a week now. I just prefer two larger meals to three smaller ones.
“Special offer! Yours for a 3c stamp”
I like how they have 1/4 of no information about fasting, then the next big 3 paragraphs turn into a commercial for wheaties. General Mills trying to get that breakfast money, they’d probably run you over for a dollar!!!

Is Fasting a “Strange Custom”?…
This is an ADVERTISEMENT that was found in The Milwaukee Journal back in 1943. Ever wonder why breakfast is good and fasting is bad?…
