I would be curious as to the "difference" between 24 hour fasting and 18 hour every day fasting too. Weight loss wise ;D (Though I have to be honest - I KNOW I can stick to the ESE style. !8 hours every day? Not so sure... )

Hi Brad -

Lets do the run down: Blueberries, Oat cakes and Quinoua (Oh My!), Wheat Grass (especially for wheat intolerance - very beneficial), Cous Cous, Sea salt (not the normal kind, mind: SEA salt) and humus or olive oil (in case you loose weight and don't come back).

Hey Wolvy,

Sorry I missed the question before...

In what way do you mean 'difference?' weight loss?

Hi Brad, this is a bit off point, but i asked before in another thread but got no reply, i know you might not want to comment on the efficacy of a similar IF system, but its all still credit to YOU. Is there a real difference between fasting every day and eating within a 4 or 5 hour window and EstopE, please you reply will be highly appreciated. thanks

Chris,

Your Wizard of Oz analogy is certainly a brilliant comparison. So I guess North America is 'the Wicked Witch of the West'???

LOL! Not harsh, it conveys the way things are behind the scenes very well. Hilarious, but of course the consequences of what many marketers get away with can be grim.

I do my best to find out what the studies have actually said, whether they should be trusted, etc. and love how ESE can fit into whatever eating habits a person has as long as calories are kept at a level that don't pack pounds on in between fasts.

Even if a certain food DOES seem to be a problem for someone (for example, wheat/gluten is something I will likely have to avoid for the rest of my life - confirmed by medical tests and the resolution of problems I had after going gluten free), it's rare that a change in diet will resolve everything.

I wonder where things will be at in, say, 100 years - if there will be more or less understanding about what does what and fool-proof cures for diseases that are killing people now.
