It’s funny how people don’t think of things like this but it’s also their perception of something, based on a name, like frappucciono instead of milkshake. For example I’m actually a regular of a Starbucks, and at one time they were a test site to sell their ice cream, they decided it wasn’t working well enough so they gave away all of their ice cream on a day i was there, so i had a pint, it was funny that a girl that worked there ” couldn’t believe i would eat all that” first of all it was 448 calories, and i pointed out she had a Venti Frappucciono ever day! With a lot more calories than this one time treat. Even as a employee she really hadn’t thought about it. What’s even more insidious a lot of times are things that are marketed as supposedly healthy alternatives, and still have additional sweeteners etc. Things that people just wouldn’t think of finding unless they are good label readers

Unbelievable, isn’t it? Liquid Sugar goes down fast and easy, without perception. It’s always about staying conscious and staying present to your behaviors.

As a newbie in the endeavour of attempting to clean up my act, I’ve found that I’ve developed a neurosis: I HAVE to find out how many calories are in so-and-so. This means either reading the label or googling the product in question. Luckily I’ve always known about the high calorific content found in such drinks and avoid them like the plague just in case I develop a craving for them. >:(

Very nice post, it is funny how people don’t think when drinking high claories drinks that it commits to their weight problems. Most people treats themselves to variety of drinks forgetting that they are the same bad as some calories rich food.
