After seeing Oprah today and hearing Dr. Oz discuss the power of Calorie Restrictive eating I am prepared to step towards the EST lifestyle. He had a 60 yr old on there who looked really good and had crazy energy...who had been eating low calorie for years. These people are expected to live longer.

I've fasted for 5 days a few times and it felt great. Its amazing how the body works. I've worked out for 27 days in a row as of today and I feel strong mentally as well as physically. I have a ways to go and have only stepped on a scale once. I kinda of don't care... there seems to be a "knowing" this time around...that I will end up where I should be. Something very deep helped me take "action" and set a goal of 40 straight days at the gym. No breaks, no excuses. Just Do It and then regroup at that point. I am eating low carb/ Type O style but really feel I can do ESE 1 day a week and feel stronger.

Look forward to forums or discussion groups around the ESE Lifestyle.

Every person's weight loss is an individual hero's journey. I tried the 6 meals myself - sometimes I was comfortable with that, sometimes not. The toughest thing for me to learn about getting healthy was as my journey continued, my habits changed. Nothing was ever cast in concrete stone.
