Brad

I weigh 15.10 stones (211 pounds) I want to get to 13.5 stones (189 pounds). I am following ESE 2 days a week, but the weight is not droping. I assume as per one of your posts i am eating to mucc during the other non fasting 5 days. How much calories should i be eating during the 5 other days to achive this goal.

Hi brad,
first sorry for my english
i've readed your book , that's very very amazing. i feel great now, i can eat my favourite food n still ripped, i enjoy hangout with my friends n eat with them.thx for your book.

i have a question, and hope you want to answer it,
my fasting start at 1pm till tomorrow 1pm,and i usually workout at 7pm. thats good for me? coz i readed some articles said i must eat after workout for healing my muscle, but in this case i could just eat at tomorrow 1pm. thats fine??

Brad, I got your advanced package and I have to say after many years of trying everything, and getting good but incomplete or nonsense knowledge about how fatloss works, this has truly set me free. Fatloss isn't a big deal, but people make it a big deal because it's good business and it gives people something to obsess about and distract themselves with. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with this new freedom. It feels weird :)

Oh, and maybe you have blogged about this but I don't know. I know you don't lose muscle when you lose fat, but bodybuilders and other fitness people swear it's normal to lose an "acceptable" amount of muscle when you diet down for a contest. So do they simply THINK they lose muscle because they've been told it's true?

Keep doing what you're doing and keep setting people free!

Thank you so much for what you do. EatStopEat seems like a modified Warrior Diet. Do you think the warrior diet is "bad" for you. As i'm sure you know, it's pretty close to a 24 hour fast everyday (with small snacks blah blah blah)

thank you so much,

Hi Brad,

First off, thank you for the amazing book. It is really changing my life.

I would like to know, I have seen you on Youtube say that the Eat Stop Eat lifestyle is limited to 1 or 2 days of fasting for flexibility and that more days of fasting would be too intrusive. I find that it would be no trouble at all fasting on three seperate days (Mon-Wed-Fri) for me. Do you think it's safe for me to add the extra fasting day?

Hey Brad, wanted to let u know how much I enjoy ESE. I have been following this diet since the 3rd week of Feb and have now lost 32lbs. 214 down to 182 yesterday. 2 fasts of 24 hours every week and better choices with smaller portions in between. I also have to give credit to a steady dose of kettlebell training. I plan on following ESE forever, it's that easy and convenient. Thanks, Matt

Hi Brad,
I love EatStopEat!It has worked very well for me. Everything you say makes so much sense. I also think Craig Ballantyne makes a lot of sense too. This raises a question. You say exercise doesn't really affect fat loss. You believe it's all in the diet. Yet Craig says, in his Turbulence Training for Women, that his workouts boost metabolism and burns fat like crazy for hours after the workout is done. I find this confusing. I respect both of you for the professionals you are, but who is correct? I know Craig believes in eating clean, but do workouts up the metabolism and burn fat like he says? I really would like to know the answer to that question because it is important to me. Thanks

Hi Brad,

Came across your blog from Zen Habits and I have been doign the fast 2x/ week for 3 weeks now. Will it have the same affect if I am able to fast for 20-22 hours instead of full 24 hrs? Also, can we drink tea? Thanks!

Brad - as I'm wanting to lose "baby weight" after my 6th baby just 7 weeks ago I'm wondering your thoughts since I'm a nursing mother and getting enough nutrients to be sure my baby girl has enough. Is that not a concern since you actually do eat every day? Or would a 16 hour fast be better nutritionally for my baby?

Thanks so much -
Vanessa

Hi Brad

I weight 154 pounds with 18% body fat (I have a thin appearence to others). Im worried that if I loose more weight that I will look too thin. Im not sure if I should try to put some muscle on my frame and then diet or just diet.

Best regards
